The name
kalos — beautiful. anthos — flower.
Calanthe is an orchid, and its name is Greek. More than a flower, it reflects a philosophy of beauty that is quiet, timeless and deeply meaningful — which is the standard every arrangement that leaves this atelier is held to.
The mark
Drawn from the flower.
The mark is built from the same flower: petals and leaves simplified, arranged symmetrically, and resolved until the outline reads as a C. Pressed into paper rather than printed, it is how you know a piece is ours.
The signature
Symbol and name together, for formal, centred places: the bags, the shopfront, the foot of this page.
The seal
The symbol alone, for the smallest places: cards, tags, stickers and the corner of a message.

The wordmark on its own, where the cleanest line is wanted: the top of this site, your invoice.
The palette
The colours of the flower itself.
An earthy palette, taken from the orchid and the ground it grows in: deep olive, muted sage, burgundy, terracotta and warm cream. Refined, yet warm — and each with its own place.
The packaging
Dressed for the occasion.
Every arrangement leaves the atelier standing in its bag or its sleeve, with its tag on and your card inside. Three pieces, one family — the pieces a customer holds.

Drawn large and tone on tone, so the flower reads as a surface rather than a print, and the name sits quietly on it.
On the cards
Pressed into the paper instead of inked, so the illustration shows itself in light and shadow around your message.

The flower becomes the shape itself: an orchid, cut out, in cream, olive or burgundy.
